DOG PARKS – BREC’s dog parks provide parks for dogs to exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under the direct supervision of their owners. Owners use the park at their own risk, pick up after their dog and obey posted rules and regulations. BREC is not responsible for injury or illness to dogs or owners. All dog parks are open from dawn until dusk.
12400 Burbank Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. The 6-acre dog park features a small and large dog play area, pavilions and includes a 1/4-mile dog walk and wash station. Please see the State of Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals release on dangers of dogs swimming in natural bodies of water.
1442 City Park Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Raising Cane’s donated $50,000 to the BREC Foundation for this dog park, which is named in honor of the chicken finger restaurant’s first mascot, Raising Cane I. It includes dog play areas, benches and water stations.
13900 Harrell’s Ferry Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. This dog park stretches over 1.2 acres and features a small and large dog play area, a water station, benches and pavilions.
20055 Highway 964, Zachary, LA 70791. The Dog Park at Zachary Community Park features a small and large dog play area, a water station, benches and a pavilion.
13350 Highway 19, Baker, LA 70714. The Raising Cane’s Dog Park at Greenwood Community Park features separate small and large dog play areas, a water station, benches and pavilion.
